Needed Tools

 

Rubber Mallet, Flathead Screwdriver and Pliers

These set of tools will help you in removing, and installing the replacement parts.

Safety Googles and Wooden Block

The safety googles is for you, wear it in the entire procedure. You will also need the wooden block to hold the equipment in place for easier installation.

Before we start, please make sure the machine is not plugged into the power source. Utilize the lockout tagout procedure and refer to the EZV manual.

You should wear safety glasses while performing this procedure.

 

Remove the Palnut

Rest the back of the machine on the wooden block, remove the old black palnut that holds the wheel with pliers, or the flat head screwdriver and a hammer.

Then remove the metal retainer ring underneath with pliers.

Replace with new wheels

Now you can take the old wheel off and replace it with the new one.

Now put the new palnut on, when you're tapping down the new palnut with the rubber mallet, make sure to tap on it as squarely as possible to prevent the bending of the retaining ring that is now located in the palnut.
